Applying to foster or adopt a dog may and will likely result in a meet-and-greet. If you and the rescue move forward with a meet-and-greet, you acknowledge and understand that interacting with animals carries inherent risks, including the possibility of injury to oneself, others, or property. You agree to assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during or as a result of this meet-and-greet. By agreeing to meeting and interacting with a rescue animal, you hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the rescue organization, its volunteers, staff, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation. You further agree to indemnify and defend the rescue organization against any claims or expenses resulting from your actions or the actions of any accompanying individuals during this event.
